I'm so excited to share my new sewing pattern with you ~ this time something to adorn your home with, The LOVEHEART cushion!
This downloadable pdf pattern comes with a fully illustrated step by step instruction booklet and in it, I take you through each step of sewing your own gorgeous Loveheart cushion making this a perfect project for confident beginners!

There are 2 sizes of cushion, a little version and a big version and you can sew them with ruffles or without. They don't use too much fabric either, less than a metre, so they're perfect for stash busting your treasured leftover fabrics.

This lovely version, which takes pride of place on my Victorian style bedstead, is a vintage Laura Ashley cotton union with a Liberty Tana Lawn ruffle. It's so much fun to spend time playing with fabrics, putting together contrasting prints to make something truly unique and special. I think sewing the cushion with ruffle in the same fabric would be lovely! I haven't done that yet but now I've thought of it, I've got to give it a go! It's such a quick sewing project too ~ perfect for when you only have a couple of hours to sew and you want to have something finished by the end.

I love this velvet version ~ A vintage velvet with a pom pom trim. I'm totally here for the pom poms!

I put together a simple step by step tutorial which you can watch on YouTube as you sew your LOVEHEART!

I have absolutely loved working on my LOVEHEART cushion sewing pattern and I hope, if you sew some LOVEHEART cushions, they bring you love and joy too!
