Before building an online educational platform through YouTube and Patreon, Tara spent years creating commissioned garments and working closely with clients on one-of-a-kind pieces. That experience continues to shape the atelier today ~ combining technical expertise with a deeply personal approach to design and craftsmanship.
Drawing inspiration from vintage fashion, old Hollywood glamour, historical construction methods, and the beauty of slow fashion, the atelier celebrates clothing as both artistry and storytelling.
Alongside commissioned work, Tara creates digital sewing patterns and educational resources designed to help modern makers build garments with confidence, creativity, and longevity in mind. Tara has always loved dressing up and lives in an old cottage by the sea with her rescue cat, Ghost.
