A private 30-minute session with Tara, via Zoom
Sometimes you just need another pair of eyes on a project.
My Atelier Consultations are a chance to spend 30 minutes with me, one-to-one, talking through a sewing, dressmaking, fitting or design project.
Whether you've reached a frustrating point with something you're making, have a fitting problem you can't quite solve, want advice on adapting a pattern, or simply have an idea you'd like to talk through, this is an opportunity to get some personal guidance and work out the best way forward.
What can we talk about?
Your session is completely tailored to you. We might look at:
fitting and adjusting a garment or sewing pattern
troubleshooting a sewing problem
adapting an existing pattern
pattern cutting and garment construction
copying or recreating a favourite garment
choosing fabrics for a particular project
planning a new sewing or dressmaking project
working through a technique you're finding challenging
developing an idea or design
or simply getting a second opinion before you begin
You don't need to have a problem to solve. If you'd like to talk through an idea, get some creative direction or have me look over a project you're working on, that's absolutely fine too.
How it works
There are just 10 Atelier Consultation sessions available during September.
Each session lasts 30 minutes and takes place via Zoom.
Choose your preferred numbered session from the available appointments when booking. Once your booking is confirmed, you'll receive the Zoom details and information about anything you may wish to have ready for our conversation.
If you're discussing a particular garment or project, it can be useful to have photographs, patterns or other reference material available to share on screen.

All appointment times are shown in UK time (BST). If you're booking from overseas, your booking confirmation/calendar invitation will show the appointment time in your local time zone.
