The Alice Dress
Inspired by Alice in Wonderland, Alice is a dress to have adventures in.
The flattering vintage inspired French darts create elegant shaping on the bodice, the ruffled A line skirt allows for comfortable glamour and the sweet puff sleeves add a fun element to a timeless design.

Heirloom Fabrics
Each season, Tara curates a selection of timeless and truly special fabrics, from vintage and limited editions through to heirloom Liberty prints.
The high quality fabrics have been thoughtfully selected so that each dress, carefully crafted and hand finished in the Atelier, becomes a treasure for you to cherish for years to come.
Due to the nature of small-batch and vintage textiles, some fabrics may only be available in extremely limited quantities.

What does Made To Order mean?
A Made To Order garment is a sustainable way of making something special for you. You select your design, size and fabric, then your dress is made especially for you by hand in the Atelier. With care and attention using quality components and demi couture techniques, each dress is finished by hand then sent to you. Only a few dresses can be made at any one time and we value beautifully made craftsmanship, luxurious fabrics and timeless design. Your dress might be the only one of it's kind in the whole world! Which is a lovely thought.
Due to the handmade nature of atelier production, slight variations in fabric placement and finishing may occur and are considered part of the character of the garment.
How long will my order take?
Average production time takes between 2~4 weeks excluding shipping. Extended lead times may apply during collection launches and busy seasons {May to September especially} but we pride ourselves on smooth production and excellent communication with our valued customers. If you need to discuss a special situation with us, please get in touch! We will always do our upmost to help!
What sizes are available?
The Atelier covers a size range of UK size 8 to 24 with an average height of 5ft 5". Full sizing info is included in each listing. If you have special requirements, please get in touch and we will do our best to help.
What is the return policy for Made To Order?
Each made-to-order garment is created individually with care and attention. If something isn’t quite right, please get in touch within 14 days of delivery and we’ll do our best to help.
Standard-size made-to-order garments may be returned within 14 days of delivery provided they are:

unwashed

free from perfume or marks

returned in original condition
Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless an item arrives faulty.
Can my dress be made in a different fabric?
Yes, you can request a different fabric or if you have something special you would like to use instead of the fabrics given in the listing, you can request a custom order. Please fill out the request form below
Are Custom Orders returnable?
Due to the personalised nature of custom sizing, length adjustments, and bespoke fabric requests, these pieces are non-returnable unless faulty.
Do you only ship to the Uk?
We are currently only offering shipping within the Uk via the website. If you live outside our shipping region and would really love one of our handmade treasures, please get in touch via the custom made enquiry form above and we will try to make it happen!
